Easton Estate Zinfandel
Bill Easton helped to lead the Cali Syrah charge as one of the 4 “Rhone Rangers” who all sought to make elegant and balanced wines in Cali, using the Rhone region of France as a signpost and inspiration. His sense of place, restraint, and balance shows gracefully in his Zin offerings as well.
This wine has huge brambly blackberry fruit, big cedar, spice box aromas and flavors. It has a smooth creamy finish from aging in François Frères and Taransaud barrels (1/3 new).
Zinfandels from Easton have no residual sugar and capture a nice balancing acidity. This wine will age nicely for at least twenty years, but it is ready to pop and enjoy today.

Grenache makes up 60% of this wine, with the rest Syrah (26%) and Mourvèdre (14%). The aromas pop, with bright, fruit-forward notes of raspberry and strawberry candy, herbs and spices. The palate is richly flavorful, textured with a lingering finish. It brings a compelling sense of purity—a whole lot of wine for the money. Dope gem from a Kentucky Native.

Barouillet is an 8th Generation (!) all natural and organic winemaker out of Monbazillac, France. This 100% semillon yields the most beautiful mouthfeel and is reminiscent of traditional blanc de blancs. It's "Splash" comes from the natural secondary fermentation in the bottle, capturing the CO2 and creating the perfect bubbly fizz. Put on your party pants and pop this bb.

This label hails from Greek mythology. When gods ruled the earth, two lovers were granted eternal love on a tumultuous beach. Goddess Halcyon begged for a reprieve from the storm to bear children (or at this point, kingfisher eggs, you can read the whole story for that to make sense). This magical and peaceful time surrounding the winter solstice came to be known as the Halcyon Days.
